5/8/08 Emeth Drops Two. Doubleheader Sunday.
I wrote a lot (Groob Jr and Rabb Jr's back to back dingers in an exhibition game against Needham) but this stinkin computer deleted it all before I got to post it. If someone buys me a new laptop I will write more and better. Bottom line: Sunday's doubleheader will go a long way towards determining the playoffability of the '08 squad.

4/6/08 Emeth wins opener
Fighting Newton Town officials (teams were forced to relocate to Newton Centre Field at 10.10am), the elements and an always ready Maimonides squad, Emeth won its opener by a score of 18 -  6. The team hit well but more impressively made very few errors, both mental and physical in the field. Elloit Mark picked up the victory.

On Field Discipline
Do not make extra throws or baserunning blunders. Read it. Learn it. Live it.

Practice

Practice every Thursday at 6.30 behind Tedeschi's at the corner of Dedham and Upland in Newton. Please spy a better  field. This one is unoccupied but not great for softball (unless you like softball on a 90 ft diamond).
